1 month in England vs. 1 month at the law firm

A little over a month ago, Corinna Kelz was still busy gaining insights into the British legal system, exploring London and trying a new food spot every day. 😋

Now she’s back in day-to-day law firm life – working with clients, drafting submissions and many exciting new cases. ⚖️

One month in England vs. life at the firm – two worlds that actually have more in common than you might think.

In London, you constantly hear “Mind the gap” – here it’s more “Mind the deadline”. Both can hurt if you ignore them. 😉

Instead of Pumpkin Spice Latte and Iced Matcha Strawberry from her favourite coffee shop, it’s now back to files and days in court – but with just as many new challenges, insights and “aha” moments.

What stays? The realization that it’s always worth looking beyond your own backyard – whether after a day at law school in the pub 🍻 or in the next hearing. ⚖️
